The original plat of Bidwells Addition goes back to 1855 (Village of Adrian) and current housing is part of a plat from 1910 (most built between 1910-1940). Styles vary greatly, but include some rare examples in Adrian of elaborate architecture, such as Italianate. Houses tend to be larger with varying lot sizes and mature trees. Many beautiful homes with updates or extensive restorations; other houses are livable as is, but could be opportunities for renovation leading to increased value.
Adrian Public Schools is the resident school district. While Michigan is a "School of Choice" state, participation in choice programs is optional for districts. The degree and extent of participation are also determined at the local level. Ask your REALTOR® at The Wagley Group for more information.
