Nestled in between M-50 and its nearby intersection with US-12 in Cambridge Twp. are Washington Lake (40 acres) and Marrs Lake (29 acres.) West of Washington Lake, across M-50, is White Lake (14 acres). All three lakes have development along most of the shore, with some off the water properties that may have lake access. There appear to be unbuildable spots at each lake that may have hindered residential development from going all the way around. If so, this would be a plus for those who are there. Less density and more natural views, as built now, are a benefit to developed property owners. Many larger and smaller lakes nearby, including Wampler’s Lake at 796 acres, provide public access, some with hard-surface boat launces and beaches. The fishing is different from lake to lake, as is the scenery. Live on one lake and play on many!
Onsted Community Schools is the resident school district. While Michigan is a "School of Choice" state, participation in choice programs is optional for districts. The degree and extent of participation are also determined at the local level. Ask your REALTOR® at The Wagley Group for more information.
